The course duration is one day, from 9am to 4:30pm

Our workshop is intended primarily to developers, network designers, support engineers and employees of company-internal testing departments. We provide knowledge for planning, executing and documenting tests.

As an independent test center with more than 15 years of testing experience, we will provide objective criteria and “best practice” methodology for optimally approaching different testing requirements in modern NGN networks.

The workshop will take place in EANTC's seminar center in Berlin.
The seminar group size is restricted to a maximum of four participants. This allows a constructive exchange between the delegates and the trainers.
All seminars are generally held in English, although on request, they can be delivered in German. As a significant number of our delegates come from overseas, it should be noted that of our seminar material is in English.

Workshop contents

• Conceptual network troubleshooting: monitoring and analyzing different traffic streams
• Illustration of multiple testing methods, e.g. conformance tests, acceptance tests or interoperability tests
• Defintion of the test execution as a formalized process
• Support for choosing the right analyzer tool/device types.
• Hands-on experience through exercises in our lab
• Discussion of individual case studies

Aim of the Workshop - You will gain knowledge about the network design and choice of testing methods, the test bed design, how to operate the analyzer equipment, and how to document and analyse the test results. You will learn how to verify networks and network components regarding stability, performance and capacity limits.
For the workshop, we have different analyzer devices from leading vendors available to test diverse network protocols and technologies..
