Carrier Ethernet  World Congress|Interoperability Event

Berlin,  September 2007

EANTC AG (European Advanced Networking Test Center) teamed up with 24 leading vendors to set up the largest and most diverse public Carrier Ethernet multi-vendor interoperability test event ever staged. 

The results are currently being showcased at the Carrier Ethernet World Congress in Geneva, Switzerland (until September 27th, 2007).  The demo network consists of over 65 devices; it has been pre-staged at EANTC's labs in Berlin in a two-week hot-staging period in August.
 
This year’s test topics include:

  • A range of Metro/Aggregation technologies such as T-MPLS, PBT and MPLS
  • Ethernet OAM
  • Diverse access technologies such as Ethernet over PDH, Ethernet over microwave link, Ethernet over concatenated TDM links
  • Protection mechanisms for T-MPLS, MPLS and PBT Metro/Aggregations clouds
  • PBT and T-MPLS interfaces to MPLS core
